Linked here are my configs that I use on the 3825 and the AS5350. If you would like to setup something similar yourself, or are setting up a Cisco ISR as an ATA, you can use them as a reference.

Don't try to load these straight into your router, there are things redacted and I have also added comments in parentheses on some lines to explain what they are or why they are important

I am by no means an expert, there are definitely some silly things in these configs, and probably some extraneous stuff, but they seem to work.

Here is a quick rundown of the hardware in the 3825:

• 2x Cisco WIC-1AM-V2 analog modem cards for dialup
• 1x Cisco VIC3-4FXS/DID card for 4x FXS ports
• 1x Cisco PVDM2-64 64 channel DSP module - This is required for any telephony, though analog to analog doesn't actually use any DSP resources
• 1x Cisco EVM-HD-8FXS/DID NM module - NM module that provides a telco connector with 8 FXS ports natively and can have 2 expansion cards installed with additional FXS or FXO ports
• 2x Cisco EM3-HDA-8FXS/DID - 8 FXS expansion modules for the EVM-HD-8FXS, brings it to a total of 24 FXS ports on one NM module
• 1x Cisco VWIC2-2MFT-T1/E1 - T1 card to route calls to AS5350
